Farm 13 has a lot of aquatic vegetation.

Farm 13 produces some hefty bass, too.

The fish we got were fat, healthy and beautifully colored. We got several in the five-pound range. Eight- and ten-pound fish are fairly frequently caught, usually around the canals that were dredged through the area before it was flooded.

FGRA is about two hours from Orlando, an hour from Melbourne and slightly more than an hour from Stuart. The fishing is worth the drive. Check it out.

Nuts and Bolts
